Why?

Why oh why did my wife have to cry
Life has been all about no and deny
Why did my son have to die?

So many questions and so few answers
Many say to adjust and move on
Easier said than done

When will it be our time in the sun?
Why can we not have fun?
Sadly, there can never be fun without my son

Why are there so many that suffer?
What does not kill you makes you stronger
Yet, one still needs to suffer

Why is there no answer?
Until that time the only answer is...
Why?

Another night and it is long Scent of a day gone by strong Sitting here wondering & pondering Will there be a new beginning by the dawn's early bright Each new day full of wonder and fright Perhaps, it should be made into a delight Every day ends in a new night Every day begins with new light This being what should be a delight To wake up and live Pains and agonies one must forgive Forgiveness is a gift  Depsite what those who refuse to forgive            each day is a new chance to live
