Let her down

I let her down today
Having nothing to say
Just wanting to pray

Feeling so sad
Knowing that things are really bad
When this passes I will be glad

Her love for me holds no bounds
Yet I stop things in the ground
My response having no sound

No matter what I say
It will not help in the fray
Again I will sit and pray

I suppose
And I'm sure that she knows
Something from nothing will arose

Love is her to stay
No matter what I say
I will continue to pray

Another night and it is long Scent of a day gone by strong Sitting here wondering & pondering Will there be a new beginning by the dawn's early bright Each new day full of wonder and fright Perhaps, it should be made into a delight Every day ends in a new night Every day begins with new light This being what should be a delight To wake up and live Pains and agonies one must forgive Forgiveness is a gift  Depsite what those who refuse to forgive            each day is a new chance to live
