Thrown around like a pinball
Hit from the back
Smashed in the front
Looking like a crushed sardine can

Shock, awe, fright
All emotions at one time
Over like that, drop of a dime

Life in pieces
Where to pick up
Accident a terrible thing to be in

Wanting the pain and suffering to leave
At first wanting to heave
Now wanting to believe

Wanting my life to resume
A new day will bloom
New beginning to assume
