Another day of desperation
Running on empty the only way to be
Will this desperation ever end?
When will fate bend in my favor?
Yearning for a moment to savor
Tired of fighting
Sitting there just slighting
Growing apart falling further from the start
How did it get to this point?
When will it end?
How will it begin?
To start fresh and rejuvenated
Smiles are venerated
Smile a smile for the sake of smiling
A smile as long as a mile
Right now smiles are hard to come by
In the mean time I can only try

Another night and it is long Scent of a day gone by strong Sitting here wondering & pondering Will there be a new beginning by the dawn's early bright Each new day full of wonder and fright Perhaps, it should be made into a delight Every day ends in a new night Every day begins with new light This being what should be a delight To wake up and live Pains and agonies one must forgive Forgiveness is a gift  Depsite what those who refuse to forgive            each day is a new chance to live
