Tired of being poor
The more I work the more I seem to be poor
Is this all that life has in store?
Wanting more but can not seem to store
This making life such a bore

Another night and it is long Scent of a day gone by strong Sitting here wondering & pondering Will there be a new beginning by the dawn's early bright Each new day full of wonder and fright Perhaps, it should be made into a delight Every day ends in a new night Every day begins with new light This being what should be a delight To wake up and live Pains and agonies one must forgive Forgiveness is a gift  Depsite what those who refuse to forgive            each day is a new chance to live
