120 Miles or else

Day in, day out my job is a joke Keeps me only one step above broke Long hours and high expectations All this comes with low pay Anybody else would say "No way!" Myself, I need the money Being so broke it ain't funny Will I ever see a day that is sunny? Company sends me away with 120 miles Help with others that I have never met before No choice, no voice Just what I'm told Having no money is so old If that truth needs to be told 120 miles or else Destiny or doom? BOOM!

Time away and afar World full of trappings and distractions Keeping us from time Time is the one thing that can not be saved Each second an experience paved Time keeps on a ticking Tick. Tick. Tick. One day you realize that time has passed The feeling makes one sick Sensation in the stomach of a brick Much can be said of what is lost With time we are all losers No matter how successful or not No matter winner or loser No matter accomplishment or failure Time can not be returned Seconds, minutes, hours, days, years all become history The future always a mystery Being in the moment can keep us in time Here and now, the value of moments appreciated Loving the joy of achievement It lasts but temporarily in the present Appreciate the joy this moment sent Along with the joy will be challenges and failures Hate and fear the outcome of these Yet there is one fact that will please These last but a moment as well Enjoy the time given Remember to stay drive...
